Ramallah - June 22, 2026 The Higher Committee for Public Relations and Media in the Security Establishment met with the Minister of Education and Higher Education, Professor Dr. Amjad Barham, today, Monday, at the Ministry's headquarters in Ramallah, to discuss a number of issues of mutual interest and to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two sides.

During the meeting, a range of educational issues were discussed in light of the exceptional circumstances we are experiencing. They also reviewed ways to benefit from internal and external scholarships, while maintaining a quota for security personnel, as well as the Student Loan Fund. An agreement was reached to provide a list of security personnel who are facing difficulties in obtaining their academic degrees and who have not received financial loans, in order to support security personnel and their families.

Professor Dr. Amjad Barham affirmed his pride in the security establishment, praising its national role in maintaining security and stability and serving the Palestinian people. He also presented the Ministry's vision for the coming years, which focuses on developing the education system and promoting digital transformation and technical education. Both sides agreed on the importance of continued cooperation and coordination between the Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Academic Affairs Department at the security establishment, in order to serve common goals, contribute to the development of educational and awareness programs, and enhance institutional partnership.
