Customs Police Join Prime Minister on Inspection Tour of Sebastia

 

Ramallah - June 20, 2026 The Director of the Customs Police in Nablus Governorate, Colonel Ahmed Bisharat, accompanied Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa and his ministerial delegation on an inspection tour of the town of Sebastia in Nablus Governorate on Saturday. Also present were the Governor of Nablus, Ghassan Daghlas, the Minister of the Interior, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, the Minister of Culture, the Minister of Education, the Minister of Local Government, the Minister of Labor, security officials, and representatives of the Fatah movement in Nablus.

The tour aimed to assess the town's current situation and needs, bolster its resilience, and preserve its historical and cultural heritage.

During the visit, the Prime Minister received a briefing on the town's most pressing needs and the challenges it faces.

The Prime Minister emphasized the government's commitment to Sebastia and its national and historical significance, and its dedication to supporting development projects there. He stressed that these efforts would contribute to strengthening the resilience of the town's residents and preserving the Palestinian identity of the archaeological and historical site.
