Ramallah, June 18, 2026 - Major Abdul Rahman Bisharat, Deputy Director of the Customs Police Directorate in Tulkarm Governorate, participated today, Thursday, in welcoming the Minister of Interior, Major General Ziad Hab Al-Reeh. Also present were the Governor of Tulkarm Governorate, Major General Dr. Abdullah Kamil, the Minister of Local Government, Dr. Sami Hijjawi, directors of security agencies, the Secretary of the Fatah Movement in the Tulkarm region, Mr. Iyad Jarad, and a number of mayors, heads of local councils, and other relevant officials.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the overall situation in Tulkarm Governorate, in light of the ongoing Israeli aggression and its repercussions, particularly concerning the needs of citizens and displaced persons from the Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps. The meeting also addressed the challenges facing official institutions and ways to enhance coordination and cooperation to better serve citizens, ensure the continued provision of essential services, and mitigate the effects of the exceptional circumstances the governorate is experiencing.
