Ramallah - June 17, 2026 - Officers from the Awareness Section of the Public Relations and Media Department of the Customs Police delivered an awareness lecture to students of Al-Quds Open University today, Wednesday, in Ramallah and Al-Bireh. The lecture benefited 100 students, faculty, and administrative staff members, and was attended by the head of the university branch, Dr. Amjad Bader.

The officers discussed the role of the Customs Police in protecting the national economy, combating tax evasion and customs smuggling, and combating illegal goods.

The officers emphasized the importance of strengthening community partnerships and self-regulation, and raising students' awareness of the importance of this role in maintaining their health and safety. They also stressed the necessity of reporting any illegal products they observe in the markets by contacting the toll-free number (132).
