Ramallah - June 15, 2026 Under the patronage of His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine: Colonel Abdul Karim Basayta, Director of the Customs Police in Bethlehem Governorate, and Colonel Fadi Abu Al-Qarn, Director of the Customs Police in Hebron Governorate, along with their accompanying delegation, participated in the opening of the Palestinian Food Exhibition, held today, Monday, at the Bethlehem Convention Palace. The opening was attended by Bethlehem Governor Muhammad Taha, Hebron Governor Khaled Doudin, Minister of National Economy Muhammad Al-Amour, Head of the Foodstuffs Syndicate Wasim Al-Ja'bari, Head of the Chamber of Commerce Samir Hazboun, and representatives of security and civil institutions.

In a separate event, Colonel Basayta, accompanied by Governor Abu Aliya and directors of security agencies, congratulated Mr. Hanna Samir Hanania, Mayor of Bethlehem, on assuming his duties.

This visit comes within the framework of strengthening the integrated relations between the security establishment and local authorities, contributing to serving the community and fulfilling the aspirations of citizens.
