Ramallah – June 9, 2026 Representing the Commander of the Customs Police, Major General Iyad Barakat, the Director of Public Relations and Media at the Customs Police, Colonel Ibrahim Ayyash, and his accompanying delegation met today, Tuesday, with the Mayor of Ramallah, Mr. Jack Saadeh, to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation and develop the partnership in a manner that serves the public interest.

Both sides emphasized the importance of enhancing community partnership and joint cooperation in various fields, particularly in awareness-raising, through the implementation of programs and initiatives that contribute to raising citizens' awareness and serving the local community.

For his part, Mr. Saadeh praised the efforts of the Customs Police in protecting the national economy and supporting local products, which contributes to ensuring food security for our people.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Customs Police delegation presented Mr. Saadeh with a commemorative plaque on the occasion of his assuming the duties of Mayor of Ramallah, wishing him success in his duties and in serving the city's residents.
