Ramallah_25/1/2023 The Commander of the Customs Police Service, Major General Iyad Barakat, received today, Tuesday, in his office in Ramallah, a delegation that included national, organizational and legal personalities and released prisoners from the regulatory area west of Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate.
For its part, the delegation praised the role of the customs police apparatus in protecting the national economy, supporting the local product, combating customs smuggling and tax evasion, and controlling markets, and the qualitative shift that took place in the apparatus since Major General Iyad Barakat assumed command of the apparatus.
This meeting comes within the framework of continued communication between the customs police and all popular and organizational activities in all governorates, in a way that serves means of cooperation aimed at developing institutional performance, the public interest, and protecting the national economy.
