Ramallah _ 1/24/2023 The Commander of the Customs Police Service, Major General Iyad Barakat, received today, Tuesday, in his office in Ramallah, the Secretary of the Fatah Movement for the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Region, Mr. Muwafaq Sahwil, and the members of the region.

In turn, Major General Barakat welcomed this meeting, and appreciated the efforts made by the Fatah movement in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh region and all the regions of the country, stressing the importance of cooperation and partnership between the security establishment, the Fatah movement and all the national action factions.

For his part, Sahwil praised the efforts of the customs police in combating tax evasion and customs smuggling, protecting the Palestinian markets and supporting the local product.

This meeting comes within the framework of continued communication between the customs police and all popular and organizational activities in all governorates, in a way that serves means of cooperation aimed at developing institutional performance, the public interest, and protecting the national economy.
