Ramallah _ 1/24/2023 The Commander of the Customs Police Service, Major General Iyad Barakat, received today, Tuesday, in his office in Ramallah, the Governor of Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, Dr. Laila Ghannam.

In turn, Major General Barakat welcomed the governor, Dr. Ghannam and the delegation accompanying her, praising the efforts of the governor in serving the governorate, providing an explanation of the course of the work of the customs police and the daily tasks and follow-ups related to the work of the police in order to preserve our economy and to protect citizens and their food security.

For his part, the governor, Dr. Ghannam stressed the importance of the great role that the police officer has to play through the tasks and efforts it undertakes in pursuing corrupt and illegal goods and other efforts that serve the citizen and protect our national economy.
