The Supreme Council for Youth and Sports honors the customs officer for her role in the success of the Summer Camps 2022 program in Ramallah and Al-Bireh

Ramallah _ November 21, 2022 The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Minister Issam Qaddoumi, honored the customs police force and the partner institutions in the Summer Camps Program for Pioneers for the year 2022, today, Monday, at the Joseph Blatter Academy building in Ramallah and Al-Bireh.

In turn, Minister Qaddoumi welcomed the partner institutions and thanked them for contributing to the success of the program, which is considered the largest of its kind.

Minister Qaddoumi indicated that there are evaluation mechanisms that would evaluate errors and develop the program through feedback from partners and come up with recommendations.

For his part, the Director of the Public Relations and Media Department at the Customs Police Agency, Colonel Ibrahim Ayyash, praised the role of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports in organizing summer camps, through which the employees of the Authority provide educational awareness lectures about the nature of the work of the Authority in various governorates.

The Acting Director General of Youth Affairs, Ms. Iman Tahboub, reviewed all the recommendations made by the partners through the program’s feedback, which were summarized as follows:

_ Work on preparing a unified training manual, and adopting the number of participants "70" as a model number.

Coordination between the council and the governorate to deliver the tools.

Increasing the number of specialized camps for partner institutions.

Focusing on the Palestinian national narrative, and emphasizing the electronic awareness angle.

It is noteworthy that the partner institutions in the summer camps program 2022 are: the customs police, the police, the civil defense, the political and national guidance, the directors of youth and culture in the governorates, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Local Government, the Ministry of Transport and Communications. and Environmental Quality Authority.
