Customs Police Seize 110 Smuggled Units of "Botox" at Al-Karameh Crossing

Ramallah – September 25, 2026: The Customs Police seized 110 units of smuggled Botox today, Friday, while operating at the Al-Karameh Crossing.
The seized shipment was smuggled and unsafe; it lacked proper labeling and failed to meet necessary storage and refrigeration requirements. As these are sensitive medical products used for cosmetic and therapeutic purposes, they posed a risk to public safety.
This operation is part of the specialized enforcement actions carried out by the agency at border crossings to combat the smuggling of illegal medical products and cosmetics of unknown origin.
The seized goods have been impounded, and the appropriate legal procedures have been initiated.
The agency emphasizes that it will not tolerate the pursuit of smugglers dealing in medical products that threaten public health and the national economy.
