Ramallah – September 21, 2026 – A training course for customs officials from Arab nations concluded today in the People's Republic of China, with personnel from the Palestinian Customs Police participating.
The course was held at the Shanghai Customs College under the supervision of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, within the framework of the Global Development Initiative. Delegations from Palestine, Jordan, Iraq, Sudan, Bahrain, Tunisia, and Mauritania took part.
The course focused on "Smart Customs, Risk Management, and E-commerce Oversight," offering insights into the operational mechanisms of Chinese customs and the latest systems and technologies utilized in customs operations.
The training program included field visits to customs brokerage firms, industrial facilities, and seaports, allowing participants to gain firsthand insight into China's experience in managing customs operations and facilitating trade.
