22 cases handled in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance to boost state revenue and replenish the treasury, involving:
- 17 tax and customs cases, with taxpayers referred to the Ministry to finalize their commercial transactions.
- 3 cases involving goods arriving from Israel without the required clearance invoice.
- 2 cases involving smuggled tobacco products and items banned from circulation.
19 cases handled in cooperation with the Ministries of National Economy and Health to prevent the spread of illegal goods, most notably:
- Seizure and destruction of half a ton of expired food products unfit for consumption.
- Seizure of 129 kg of personal care products that violated mandatory regulations; these were handed over to the competent authority.
- Seizure of 59 kg of sexual enhancement products banned from circulation; these were handed over to the competent authority.
- Seizure of 16 tons of imported sunflower seeds lacking Arabic labeling; these were impounded pending the completion of procedures.
One case handled in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, involving:
- Seizure of 1,120 laying hens transported without an agricultural permit; these were handed over to the competent authority.
3 cases handled in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy and the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission, involving:
- Seizure of 34 parcels and 96 packages of slimming products banned from circulation; these were handed over to the competent authority.
- Seizure of 3 mobile phones lacking type-approval certification; these were handed over to the competent authority. Regarding public awareness and direct engagement with citizens, the Customs Control Agency conducted numerous awareness-raising lectures—benefiting approximately 800 individuals—at universities, colleges, summer camps, and civil society organizations across the northern governorates.
