Ramallah – September 6, 2026: The Director of the Customs Police in Bethlehem Governorate, Colonel Abdul Karim Basayta, participated today, Sunday, in welcoming Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa and his accompanying ministerial delegation during their visit to Bethlehem Governorate. He also took part in a meeting held with security agency directors at the Governorate headquarters, attended by Minister of Interior Major General Ziad Hab Al-Rih, Bethlehem Governor Mohammad Taha Abu Aliya, and the Secretary of the Fatah movement’s Bethlehem branch, Mohammad Al-Masri.
The meeting addressed the security situation in the governorate, mechanisms for enhancing security and stability, and the integration of efforts among various security agencies and official institutions—all aimed at protecting citizens and their property and upholding the rule of law.
Attendees emphasized the importance of continued joint action and coordination between security agencies and official institutions, as well as responsiveness to citizens' needs. These efforts serve to bolster stability and civil peace, maintain security and public order, and effectively serve the people of the governorate.
