Ramallah – September 2, 2026 – During inspection tours of shops and markets, the Customs Police, in cooperation with the police and relevant departments in the Ministry of Agriculture and Jenin Municipality Health, seized 1800 kg of fruit unfit for human consumption in Jenin Governorate on Wednesday. The fruit showed signs of spoilage and decay, and its consumption could pose health risks to consumers.

Accordingly, the relevant authorities ordered the destruction of the seized quantity in accordance with health and safety procedures, and the necessary legal procedures are being completed.
