Ramallah, August 25, 2026 - Based on intelligence, the Customs Police, in cooperation with the police, Jenin Municipality Health Department, and the Ministry of Agriculture, seized nearly 20 tons of fruit unfit for human consumption in Jenin Governorate on Tuesday.

360 kg of pineapple were seized at a street stall, and 19,650 kg of fruit were found in a merchant's warehouse. The fruit was determined to be unfit for human consumption due to signs of spoilage and decay, and was destroyed according to regulations.
