Ramallah – July 29, 2026 As part of efforts to combat smuggling, the Customs Police, in cooperation with the Preventive Security Service and the relevant department at the Palestinian Petroleum Authority, and with the support of other security forces, shut down an illegal and unregulated fuel sales point in the town of Deir Ballut, west of Salfit Governorate, on Wednesday. The closure was carried out under the instructions of the Governor of Salfit Governorate, due to the danger it posed to public safety, vehicles, and the national economy.

The sales point was closed, and all necessary legal procedures were completed.
