Banned Plastic Bead Toys Seized in Tubas Governorate

 

Ramallah, March 19, 2026 - Based on information received, the Customs Police seized approximately 75 plastic bead toys and 1 kg of beads in a shop in Tubas Governorate in the early hours of Thursday morning. These toys are banned from sale in the Palestinian market due to the harm they pose to children's health and safety.

The seized items were impounded pending the arrival of representatives from the Ministry of National Economy to complete the necessary legal procedures.

The Customs Police urges citizens not to buy, sell, or promote these toys and to report anyone selling them by calling the toll-free number (132) or through the Customs Police's official Facebook page.

The Customs Police affirms its continued commitment to monitoring, pursuing, and holding violators accountable according to the law.
