Ramallah – January 13, 2026: As part of the intensive efforts undertaken by the Customs Police to protect the Palestinian market and prevent the entry of illegal goods, the agency, while operating at a checkpoint in Nablus Governorate on Tuesday, seized 160 kg of imported dried fruit. The fruit lacked Arabic labeling that would have provided all essential information, such as the expiration date, country of origin, ingredients, storage instructions, product name, and other details.
After summoning the relevant department at the Ministry of National Economy, it was decided to impound the seized goods pending completion of the necessary legal procedures.
