Ramallah_July 8, 2025. As part of joint security efforts with the Preventive Security Service, the Customs Police, in cooperation with the competent authority at the Ministry of National Economy, seized 19 tons of food products that did not meet specifications and standards inside a warehouse in the Hebron Governorate. The products had two different expiration dates, posing a threat to the health and safety of citizens.
Given this, the seized quantity was confiscated, and the case was referred to the Ministry of National Economy to complete legal procedures according to due process.
The Customs Police Service urges citizens to report any materials suspected of being harmful to public health by calling the toll-free number 132 or via the Service's official Facebook page.
